Privacy Policy
Learn how we use your photo and email, how long we keep videos, who helps process your order, and how to request access or deletion.
Your photo is used to make your Roadster video, and your email is used to send your order and download link. Neither your uploaded photo nor your finished video is published automatically.
What information do we use?
- Your photo: to create a video featuring the person or pet you choose.
- Your delivery email: to send the private link to your order and help with support requests.
- Your order and payment details: to record your purchase, remaining videos and payment status. Stripe handles payment; we do not store full card numbers.
- Your browser session: to let you return to your order without creating an account. Entering an email address alone does not reveal past orders.
To prevent abusive uploads, we also keep a hashed network-address identifier with your photo record for up to 7 days, rather than storing the original network address in that record.
How long is your information kept?

Download your finished video within 30 days. An expired link does not cancel unused paid videos: contact us from your delivery email if you need access again.
Clearing this site's browser data removes saved local photos and order shortcuts from that browser. It does not delete records held by the service. Order, payment and security records may be kept longer where needed to resolve disputes or meet legal obligations.
Which services help process your order?
We use the following providers to run the website and make your video:
- Cloudflare runs the website, stores photos, videos and order records, and provides the email infrastructure.
- KIE receives your photo, our prepared example video and instructions to generate your Roadster video.
- FAL combines the generated video with the example's audio.
- Stripe processes your payment. We keep the payment reference, amount, currency and status.
These providers have their own data-processing and retention policies. The storage periods above describe our service, not each provider's separate systems.
Cookies and visitor analytics
Essential cookies keep your order accessible without sign-in. Blocking these cookies may stop private order access from working.
Google Analytics helps us understand visits and steps such as watching a sample, starting a video and completing checkout. Plausible measures visits to public pages and excludes private order pages. We do not send photos, delivery email addresses or private access links as analytics event properties.
How can you request access, a correction or deletion?
Email support@day1ofowningaroadster.com from the address used for your order. Include your order reference and tell us what you would like to access, correct or delete. Support emails are forwarded to our support inbox for handling.
